What makes your vanilla powder so special?

Our powder is vanilla pure – made from fully ripe beans only, with curing aimed at developing the full potential of each crop.
Before shipment, beans are carefully air dried to about 15% moisture to ensure that the powder will be is free-flowing and bio-chemically stable. Powder-milling is based on a cold-milling (cryogen) process.
The resulting powder is dark-coloured and characterised by a full-bodied, intensive and highly complex aroma. The vanillin content usually lies in the range of 3.5 to 4.0%.
This is in stark contract to low-cost powders which are made from exhausted and flavourless vanilla bean leftovers after extraction. In such a powder the flavour re-added, usually in a standardised form.
